Today we left the Baltic States behind us and drove back into Poland. We will drive towards home via the northern part of Poland.
After breakfast, we packed our luggage again and loaded them into the car and drove to Poland. To the city called Olsztyn. We drove via a beautiful route along beautiful nature and picturesque villages. Once we arrived in Olsztyn, we left our luggage in the apartment and drove to the old city by car (about 5 km from here), where we parked the car and walked through the old city. In this old city, we visited the courtyard (with a well) of the castle. Copernicus stayed in this castle, he was a scientist and astronomer. Then we walked further to end up at a fountain in the form of a heliocentric model. We stood here for a while watching the water show until we decided to walk back to the car. Once we got to the car, we decided to do some groceries, so we took the shopping bags out of the car and walked to a supermarket to do some groceries. After doing the groceries, we drove back to the apartment where the food was being cooked, and we had dinner. After dinner, we had a quiet evening. Tomorrow we will drive on to GdaΕsk, but since it is closer than we thought, we will make a stop in Malborg. More about this tomorrow!
