Clearwater (day 10)

As a complete surprise it stayed dry today and there was even sunshine, that's nice for us. So we could visit the waterfalls today. The first one is called Spahats Falls and is 60 meters high (actually 73 meters, but the first first fall of 13 meter is invisible from the lookout point). After that we drove on to the next waterfall.

The second waterfall is called Helmcken Falls and with 141 meters higher and more spectacular than the previous one. This waterfall is the fourth highest waterfall of Canada and the particular thing about it is that the waterfall is located on volcanic rocks. After that we drove on to Dawson Falls,. With 53 meters it's the lowest of three, but this one is very broad and is nicknamed the mini-Niagara Falls. In the meantime it's already noon and we started to get hungry, so we drove back to the bungalow for lunch. After lunch we planned out the next few days ahead and we did some groceries for dinner and breakfast for tomorrow. Upon returning we prepared our own meal and after dinner we had an easy evening with not much to do. Tomorrow a visit to a museum in Kamloops about the history of the native Canadians is on the schedule.
