Purmerend - Buochs (day 1)

Today finally started the journey to Corsica and Sardinia with the car, but we're not nearly there yet. Today we drove to our first stop: Buoch in Switzerland.

We left this morning early at 7:15 AM in good spirits to Switzerland. We did this in exactly 10 hours. The road took us via Germany to our destiny at Lake Lucerne, where we arrived at 17:15 PM. After checking in the hotel we had a look inside the room (and enjoyed the beautiful view over the lake) we went back to the car to get our luggage and put it in our hotel room. As hungry as we were we walked (along the lake) to the nearest village as soon as possible to get something to eat. After dinner we walked around a bit more and then we walked back to the hotel. Unfortunately we didn't see the sunset, because it got cloudy. Tomorrow we will continue our trip to Italy, where we will drive via the Gotthard Pass to eventually arrive at our next destination: (near) Livorno. There we will stay for the night. Tomorrow's trip will take about 6 hours driving. But for now I'm going to watch the Euro-qualifier Ireland - Netherlands! :)
