Castelsardo - Algheri - Bosa (day 10)

After having breakfast and preparing a packed lunch, we first drove to a rock about 4 km from Castelsardo. This rock is shaped like an elephant and is at least thousands of years old. We then continued our way to Bosa, with a stopover in Algheri.

In Algheri we walked through the old town, which is not very big, and we sat on a terrace drinking coffee. Afterwards we visited the cathedral, which is centuries old. We then walked along the old city walls and had lunch on a bench in the shade, overlooking the marina. Finally, we bought a souvenir, then we continued driving to Bosa. Here is our next overnight stay in an apartment at a river that runs through the city. Once all the lugage was brought in, we first did some groceries. Once back in the apartment, we cooked and had dinner. After dinner we took an evening walk through the old town, bought some souvenirs and walked up to the castle. This turned out to already be closed, the gates were closed. On the other side of the hill we walked down the stairs again, back to the apartment. We had coffee in the apartment and watched the news. Tomorrow we will drive towards the capital of Sardinia: Cagliari, but we won't spend the night there, but in nearby Decimomannu.
