Vada - Patrimonio (day 3)

After a short and pretty sleepless night the alarm went off at 5:00 AM. We quickly got up and packed our suitcases and put them in the car. We had to catch the ferry boat of 8:00 AM, where you must be present 1.5 hours in advance. Eventually we got there well in time for the boat.

On board of the ferry we mostly enjoyed the view and weather on the deck of the boat, had something to eat from time to time, got bored and tried to catch up some sleep. After a boat trip of 4.5 hours we exchanged the mainland of Europe for French island Corsica! The next two nights we will stay in the village called Patrimonio, where we rented  (modern) apartment. Once we were checked in and got an explanation from the owner about the house my parents did some groceries, In the meantime, I lay down in bed to catch up on some sleep. At the end of the afternoon my parents got back from doing groceries and did some cooking. This was a good moment to get out of bed for me! After dinner we had an easy evening and did not much. Tonight going to bed early (to catch up on sleep some more) and tomorrow we have to get up early as well (but luckily not so early as this morning) to make use of the day well.
