Patrimonio (day 4)

The day started quietly with a breakfast at the bar in the apartment. After breakfast we hit the road with the car to explore some villages.

The first village where we arrived is L'îlle-Rousse, in the old times this used to be a trading port and has existed since the Roman times. We hiked through this village and along the port. Eventually we walked back to the back and drove to the next village: Pigna, this is an ancient, beautiful and picturesque village wher we hiked through as well. The last village we visited is called Corbara, this is also a nice village but not as impressive as Pigna. In Corbara we walked all the way up to a small cloister on top of the mountain, from here you have a beautiful view over Pigna, among others. Once we got back at the car we drove back to the apartment to freshen up and to cook dinner. After dinner we had some coffee and I made a puzzle in the puzzle book. After that we did an evening hike in Patrmonio, we walked around the church where we also saw a beautiful sunset in between the mountains. Tomorrow we will drive to the south, more central on the island to a place called Ucciani. Here will be our next stay. On our way there we will also go to Corte, what we are going to do there you will find out tomorrow!
