After a good breakfast it was time to pack up our luggage for the long road back to San José. On our way we crossed a bridge which was gifted by the Taiwanese to Costa Rica, in change for permission to fish in the Costa Rican waters (what later has been stopped). This is also where we stopped to take some photos and videos of the bridge, we also encountered about 5 iguanas (including a very big one). Then we continued our way until it was lunchtime.
We did this at a diner (where the Confederations Cup match Germany - Chile was broadcasted). After the excellent lunch we continued our way again, until we approached San José where we saw dark clouds hanging above the city and not much later we saw the lightning and heared the thunder... This is not a nice way to end a vacation! Luckily it didn't last long and soon the sky got lighter again (it was so dark it almost looked like it was night). Once back at the hotel in San José where the vacation started two weeks ago we checked in, dropped our luggage in our room and waited for the guy of the car rental company to pick up the car. When the car was picked up without problems, we could walk around in the city. We walked through the very long shopping street and here and there we walked through side streets. After a while we had seen enough (the street continues on forever, we didn't want to walk that far) and started to walk back in the direction of the hotel. Because around the corner is a very luxurious (and expensive) restaurant where we enjoyed our "last supper". After dinner we walked back to the hotel where we organized our suitcases and packed up as much as possible, because tomorrow morning we will be picked up and brought to the airport. Where a long travel via Panama back home in Holland awaits us. In Holland I will write the last (short) post. You can view my photos and videos besides that I hope you at least enjoyed my adventures in Costa Rica. Anyway, I'm a bit sad to go back home...
