It has been quiet for a while now, but there's a vacation in prospect! In August, a relatively exciting journey awaits (by car) to the Baltic States. This has everything to do with the situation around Russia.
With the tropical temperatures of the past few weeks you desire a vacation. Luckily some decisions have been made: it is decided that I will go to Corsica and Sardinia for 3 weeks in September (road trip! :D ). In October, I will also go to... Barcelona for 5 days!
Barely a week after I got back from vacation / visiting family in Israel we already booked the tickets for our next destination: Morocco! Although I've never been here before there's still enough to discover and to do in this North-African county, from the so called kashbahs to the Sahara.
After 1.5 years of Covid-19, when the world was in lockdown we are now slowly able to travel again! Hooray! At the end of the month (July) I will get my second and last vaccine, so I'm fully vaccinated and allowed to cross some borders. My last travel was in 2019 (to Canada), so it's time for another adventure! This time the journey won't be by airplane (too much of a hassle in these times), but by car. We are going to Slovenia and Croatia. Both countries were part of Yugoslavia until early 90s. More information about these countries below.
It won't take long anymore before the journey to Canada starts (just two weeks to go!) . The flight from Schiphol Airport to Vancouver takes about 9,5 to 10 hours. You understand that that such a long flight calls for a jetlag. I found myself a solution for that problem two years ago and successfully executed it: because for the ourward journey as for the return trip to Costa Rica and Thailand I experienced no jetlag. So here's a golden tip for you!
Hello dear people, after a (way too) long silence I have good news... My next vacation goes to Canada! From 1 until 19 September I will be in the west of the country, where we will arrive in Vancouver and from thereon we will visit including Banff National Park (with Moraine Lake and Lake Louise) and Jasper National Park.
Some of you already knew it, but now the word is out: my next travel will go to Thailand! Today the flight was booked. Curious when exactly I'm going? Please have a look at the calendar!
