Not one, but two vacations in prospect!

With the tropical temperatures of the past few weeks you desire a vacation. Luckily some decisions have been made: it is decided that I will go to Corsica and Sardinia for 3 weeks in September (road trip! :D ). In October, I will also go to... Barcelona for 5 days!

The trip to Barcelona means I will go to one of my bucket list places. The only thing I hate is that the stadium of FC Barcelona (Camp Nou) has recently gone under construction until 2026 (luckily not as long as the Sagrada Família... That makes a difference!) Because of this I won't be able to do a stadium tour or attend to an FC Barcelona match (they will play all their home-matches somewhere else for the entire season). What I cán do is (what I just mentioned) see the iconic Sagrada Família with my own eyes and walk the Ramblas and watch some other touristic attractions.

Before the time comes, I will first go to Livorno (by car) from where we will take the ferry to Corsica. On Corsica we will make a tour around the island to take the ferry in the south to Sardinia. On Sardinia we will do the same: make a tour around the island to take the ferry back to Corsica where we will take the ferry back to the mainland of Italy: Livorno. From here on we will drive back to the Netherlands. I'm already looking forward to both of these trips! Are you looking forward to it as well?
