Nea Makri (day 14)

After another great and solid breaktfast, we went to Sounion by car after a long deliberation (about an hour driving). At this site there's the temple of Poseidon located on top of a small mountain at seaside, with a fortress (or at least the ruins of it...) surrounding it. After visiting this site we drove down a little bit. Here we went to the beach in the shadow of the temple and took a refreshing dive in the sea, but we also did some snorkeling. This was a great location to do so, I've seen really beautifully and colorful fish.

Once out of the water and a little bit dried up, we drove back to the hotel in one hour to take a shower and freshen up again. While my parents went to the hotel swimmingpool, I stayed in my room to watch a football match and to relax a bit. A few hours later we walked up the boulevard again to find a restaurant so we could have dinner. Seen the fact that today is Friday (which is our pizza-day), we went to a pizzeria. I took the gyros pizza and it was surprisingly tasty! After dinner we walked around a bit looking for a souvenirshop, but unfortunately we didn't found one. We did found a shop where we could buy some bottles of water (I was through my water supply), so this was necessary. Finally we went back to the hoel, where we watched some football in the lobby (we were the only ones), with coffee and tea and for me a Fanta. But tomorrow we have to get up really early, because we have to return the rental car in time and then we have to go to the airport. So I have to pack my suitcase as much as possible (while watching football on tv) and then go to bed again, because our holiday is a wrap unfortunately!
