Agra - Bharatpur (day 3)

Today (October 2) is Gandhi's dying day. This is a national day of mourning in India. So many public places are closed, this means a short program for today. This morning we left Agra, crossed the provincial border and arrived in Rajasthan. The road continues to Bharatpur. Here we went to a fortress, which looks amazing and is comparable to the Red Fortress in Agra. Next we had a delicious lunch at a restaurant underway. I've already discovered my favorite Indian dish: murg masala 😋. This is grilled chicked with a subtle, spicy flavor. On our way to this restaurant we also passed a bird sanctuary, we will be visiting this tomorrow morning. After the lunch we drove on to our next hotel, a former palace of a maharaja (prince). My room is directly next to the swimming pool. So I'm gonna splash in the water up next! 😉 For the rest of the day we don't have a program, that's why I already post this.
