Essaouira (day 13)

After a calm and nice breakfast we made a beach walk, to the end of the bay (which is sickle-shaped). On the beach there were dromedaries and horses, which you could ride. We didn't do this. Eventually we turned around and walked to the other end of the bay, which is several kilometers long. Here we walked along the harbor where the fish was traded immediately on the dock / peer.

Next we went lunching inside the medina, which located directly next to the harbor. After lunch, I walked back to the hotel to relax a bit and when my parents got back we took a refreshing swim in the (small) swimming pool of the hotel. Once we were dry again we went back to the room to freshen up and after that we walked to the restaurant of the hotel for dinner. Only the restaurant isn't located in the same building, but it's a little walk towards the town. After dinner (it had gotten dark in the meantime) we went back inside the medina, via the boulevard. Here we walked around a short while before heading back to the hotel. Tomorrow it's already our last day in Morocco, tomorrow we will go to Marrakesh again where we will have a very short night before we fly back to the Netherlands... :(
